CLI Verification Service
The Ascade CLI Verification Service enables carriers to pro-actively
test end-to-end CLI delivery to mobile networks all over the world.
CLI (Calling Line Identification) Presentation means that the calling
subscriber's number is displayed to the called subscriber. Correct and consistent delivery of the calling party’s telephone number to the called party is of great importance to mobile and fixed operators.
Lack of correct CLI-delivery means revenue loss and poor service for several reasons:

Higher answer frequency when calling subscriber’s number is presented.
- Missed calls cannot be called back.
- Mobile services (e.g. voice mail) require CLI delivery to work.

The Solution
The Ascade CLI Verification Service allows carriers to test CLI Presentation
to mobile networks around the world. The service analyzes test calls that
are originated from the carrier’s own network and terminated at end-subscribers
and provides feedback in real-time about whether or not CLI was delivered. In
cases where the telephone number received by the called subscriber is different
to the calling subscriber's number, the received number is displayed to the user.
The service enables carriers to perform ad-hoc and scheduled testing to meet
the following business objectives:
- Monitor CLI delivery for all offered products.
